PERFORMANCE

Thanks to an enthusiastic Jazz drummer for a teacher - Trevor Willgrass, Dan learned jazz drumming from the beginning and went on to experience it in various combos and big bands with regular appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe where he played on BBC Radio Scotland live from the Spiegel Tent with the Hull University Big Band and in 2008, his final Degree year, he received the Michael Somerton Prize for Jazz performance.
